How does your shop work? How do I buy one of your bears or animals?

I update my shop with new handmade animals once every few months. On the update day all new pieces will be available for purchase in the Shop. 

Please Note: Pieces are limited and often sell quickly, but once an item is in your cart it will remain there (for a limited time) until you check out. Please do be kind to other shoppers and remove any unwanted items as you shop! Thanks.

How do I find out when you have new pieces available and other info about what you're up to?

I set a date and time for the shop update a couple weeks in advance and post all that info on the blog, facebook, and twitter along with other news from the studio. If you are not a member of any of the personal networking sites (you’re not alone!), but consider following my blog on your Reading List , RSS , one of the many other similar services, or follow my blog posts via email- there’s a link on the sidebar of my blog where you can sign up. 

What methods of payment do you accept?

Currently my shop accepts Paypal and all major credit cards. 

I don’t have a paypal account- can I still place an order?

YES! You don’t have to have an account with paypal in order to send funds. Just go through the checkout as prompted and fill in your CC info. 

I want to pay using my checking account; can I just send you a check?

Well Maybe. It’s easy to link your checking account to Paypal and send payments using that as the source. That said, I’m always happy to work with my customers. If you want to place an order for items in the shop, just email me and I’ll do my best to help you promptly. Unfortunately, I’m unable to take checks on update days, as the shop needs to be fully automated in order to keep things moving smoothly. 

What is your return policy for your handmade animals?

I want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase, if for any reason you’re not, please contact me right away. I’m more than happy to either correct your order or give you a full refund. If I don’t hear from you within the in first 5 days, I’ll assume the newest additional to your collection is fitting in perfectly!

What about returning patterns and supplies?

Sorry, all sales are final.

How do you ship items?

Orders generally ship within 1-2 days (except on weekends and holidays- of course). Occasionally I may be held up for some reason (aka FAMILY!) and it may take a few days more. If this happens I’ll usually email you to let you know.

All Handmade Bears and Animals are shipped domestically via the USPS Priority Mail with Insurance. International orders are shipped via the USPS either First Class or Priority whichever the buyer prefers.

All Sewing Supplies are all shipped via the USPS, First Class Mail without insurance or tracking. All Patterns are shipped to you via the WWW- isn’t technology wonderful?! They’ll show up in your inbox generally within 24 hours.

Note: I’ve had very reliable service with the USPS, that said, once an item has shipped I am not responsibility for any uninsured lost or stolen packages.

Do you take Custom Orders?

I try to keep the process of creating as fun and innovative as possible. For that reason, I do not accept special orders or commissions.

Is it ok to make items from your patterns to give as gifts?

Yes of course! Feel free to use my patterns to make gifts for friends and family, but please do not sell anything made from my designs. In this very small community we must support work we love not by diluting the market, but by propelling the craft forward with creativity.
